Retained Fire-fighters from Waltham Community Fire Station attended Waltham Leas School to help with their School learning. The Teachers and children where shown all the safety and protective clothing that a Fire-fighter has to wear when attending an emergency.

The children also went outside and were given a tour around the Fire Engine including hands on holding a fire hose and watching the blue flashing lights

Parents and teachers greatly appreciated the visit and it was a great chance to get the dangers of fire across to our younger children. All in all a very worthwhile and rewarding visit
